Scrypt Hardware Assessment

Scrypt Hardware Assessment

Who This Is For

Operators planning to purchase new or used Scrypt-capable mining hardware at 0.05 GH/s or higher. Whether you are importing a single Antminer L7 or evaluating a lot of ten used units from a broker, this assessment gives you measured performance data before you commit capital.

What Is Included

  • Intake inspection — visual check for physical damage, missing hashboards, non-original power supplies, and tamper seals
  • 24-hour bench run — continuous mining on a standard Scrypt pool endpoint at controlled 24°C ambient
  • Hashrate tracking — per-hour averages, variance percentage, and comparison to manufacturer specification
  • Thermal imaging — board-level heat maps at 1h, 6h, 12h, and 24h intervals
  • Power measurement — metered wattage at the wall, calculated W/MH figure
  • Share quality — rejected and stale share rates over the full run
  • Firmware audit — version hash, configuration review, and note of any custom modifications
  • Written recommendation — buy, negotiate, or pass, with supporting evidence

What Is Excluded

  • Repair or part replacement (see Hashboard Inspection)
  • Pool configuration or wallet setup
  • Long-term hosting or storage beyond five business days after test completion
  • Algorithms other than Scrypt
